SG Thakar Singh Art & Gallery and Exhibition Hall

The gallery is located on Cooper Road, approximately half way between Queens Rd and Mall Road. It is on the left side of the street. For more detailed instructions on how to get there, please consult Google Maps as an address is not provided.

About the Gallery:
Amenities available at the Gallery are a lecture hall on the left hand side of the building, two exhibition areas in the center that are made available to handicraft vendors from all across India and of course, an art gallery area. The exhibition halls are almost always booked with anything from furniture to handmade jewelry to clothing and are a definite treat for locals and tourists alike.
This statue is located in the hallway at the top of the stairs. The inscription below the childrens' feet reads "Mother."
Pictured above and below are some of the sculptures that line the right and left sides of the building.

This statue is one of several located in the gardens at the front of the building. Directly behind it is the lecture hall.

Entry Price: Free, including exhibitions. This is not the cost for any lectures, classes or other events that may occur at the facility.

Nearby Attractions:
Directly to the left of the gallery is the Punjab Government Emporium featuring locally made crafts for sale at non-rip off prices. Items include furniture, clothing, purses, and other general handicrafts and is a must see for anyone visiting the museum!
